Things have changed in this world have you looked to see the ingredients in your average soap these days.. used to be made mostly of animal fat from rendering works now days it is full of toxic chemicals... try putting a little tabasco on their tongues instead

My step father washed my mouth out with Palmolive liquid soap and to this day, the smell of that makes me vomit.

While I don't necessarily think 'bar' soap is abuse, I wouldn't do that after what I went through.

its just soap...a cleansing agent that i cannot imagine a chid swallowing. if thay were forced to swallow, damage would be imenent and that would be abuse. an old remedy that has been used for ages and hopefully cleans up their act, or at least in front of the parents.

I used vinegar and then stand in the corner for awhile. Worked wonders.
