I was approached by patched club again yesterday. After a very one sided conversation about the great bennifits of "becoming one of them", I asked him why he rides? Interestingly enough, most of the reasons he gave had nothing to do with his club or the bennifits gained from joining it. I thanked him for the opportunity to ride with him and his club, but respectfully declined his invitation and the conversation died off. A quick toast to his health and a parting "safe ride", and we went our separate ways.

I have always known why I ride, but often wonder if others ride for reasons, or just because they can. So, I thought I'd ask you... Why do you ride?
