What's Your Credo?

A Credo is your own set of values, principles and belief system that you not only live by but makes up your most personal set of convictions. The "words you live by" so to speak.

When I created this site I summed mine up into one line as you see above.

"It's your life... Live it your way"

For the most part I follow all the rules of society as they are there for good reason... However, I stand in my convictions of always being true to my self.

When there are stupid laws made by stupid people that infringe upon my rights in such a way that they would force me to go against my beliefs, My tendancy is to bend and stretch those law's and if there are consequences for that than so be it.

Now I am not neccesarally talking about "Law's" in the legal sense, but also the unwritten laws that our society says we should follow.

Although many of them are very just, fair, well principled and neccessary for a society to function without total chaos. There are others that come from anchient belief systems steeped with various religious by-laws and superstitions. From a time when man's world was small and their knowledge not based on scientific and historical fact but rather on folk lore, fables and their local peganistic or monotheistic beliefs.

Beiliefs that are handed down to us from the dark ages and infringe upon ones right to use sound judgement and choose as a free individual to make up our own minds as to what is Just, Fair and Moral.

It seems it has been the "Norm" for far too many generations, for the average person to bend to these moral judgments when in the public eye so they are not outcasted by the rest of society.

Behind closed doors however, most live in complete hypocricy, doing the very things that they shun others for when they think no one is looking.

They stand in judgement of others that do not put up the same front as they do.... They look in disgust at those who choose to live their life openly, not hiding their true selves from the judging eyes of their neighbors.

It has been my lifes experience that those that live their lives being true to themselves, also tend to stand strong in their convictions even in the face of adversity.

They are the first to lend their fellow man a helping hand when life kicks them in the teeth and to come to thier rescue when others walk away...

They are the first to "Live and let Live" letting others be who they are and excepting them for their flaws as they expect others to do the same for them...

They exercise thier enaliable rights and freedoms to the fullest and protect those rights at all cost's

So what do you call such a "Creed", where this way of life is not only the "Norm" but also the commonality that brings them together?...

You call them Bikers!

So whats your Credo?
