what a bunch of ultramaroons(as the stooges would say)

I park the bike,..street parking..freakin granola cruncher in their environmantally friendly prius.. tries to parallel park and backs into the bike...then leaves no note.luckily the bent fender could be pulled out with a gloved hand and the scratches buffed out..
so after 18 months of separation..did some dating..I've decided...
I kind of like my freedom...I'm 55 now, been told attractive...nice personality..big teddy bear..don't figure I'm gods gift to women

and some gals want to date..last gal told me.."I can tell..you like your freedom and you don't want to be tied down..
I'm not feeling it ...lol

she's right
kind of got use to jumping on the bike..not having to tell anyone what, where or who...

it's nice to have companionship.. but being alone has some advantages..

just bouncing some thought around in writing

life can get complicated

You go on a camping/fishing trip...while on the trip you take a spill..tear the quadriceps from the patella tendon.
sitting in the ER alone is no fun..spousal unit is not responding to attempts to contact.
my only comfort comes from a friend...we communicate thru text.

get home (my buddy took me home)
he was nice enough to come get me at 6 am.

no wife..tried in vain to contact her..she finally comes home and freaks out..then leaves..I thought she was my best friend..
My Ortho Doc says..surgery..I'm on the road to recovery..alone..

It's complicated..but I know I still have friends and I'll get thru it all
